The Westmoreland Museum of Art is located in the heart of downtown Greensburg and is a great indoor location centralized to a variety of other outdoor locations. That makes it great for a rainy day shoot as well as part of an indoor/outdoor session!

The museum itself has the gorgeously modern metal staircase bathed in natural light that you see to the left as well as several levels of brightly colored rooms filled with benches, sculptures, unique architectural elements and artwork. There is also a library that makes for a great location complete with velvet couch and piano!

The outside of the museum doesn't disappoint either! There is an outdoor courtyard filled with tiered greenery and flowers which makes for a pretty backdrop in the spring/summer as well as a snowy day in winter.


Get to know the location

Within walking distance of the museum you can find several unique spots for photos. The Blessed Sacrament Cathedral across the street from the museum is stunning and its stone walls and architectural design make for great photos. Also within walking distance is St. Clair Park which is a perfect add-on location if you want some photos in a park-like setting. A few streets away you will find Greensburg's Art Alley and the Palace Theater. South Maple Street adds the small town feel with pretty row houses.
