Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve is the headquarters of the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania. It is located in Fox Chapel and is 131 acres of forest, meadow, shrubland, ponds and trails.
The walking footbridge that goes through the wetlands makes for stunning images, as does Tree Top Lookout which gives a birds-eye view of the forest.
A walk along the 5 miles of trails will take you through all of the Nature Reserve's treasured landmarks. Keep your eyes peeled for deer, raccoon, red fox, geese, mallards and other wildlife that make the Nature Reserve their home. The area around the Nature Center makes for great photos as well!
